Zelensky’s Reported Evacuation to Lvov Risks Prompting Ukraine’s Partition
NATO might want to draw its own red line in the remnants of the increasingly crumbling Ukrainian state by reviving the so-called “West Ukrainian People’s Republic”, whether as a self-declared independent state that immediately joins the military alliance in order to come under its nuclear umbrella or by having it (re-)’unify’ with Poland and achieving the same end via those means instead.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s evacuation from Kiev to Lvov that was reported by Russian Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin on Saturday risks prompting his country’s partition after the end of Russia’s special operation there, and curiously enough, it might even be declared by that exact same leader himself. The author already explained earlier in the week how “The End Of Lenin’s Unnatural Mini-Empire In Ukraine Is Near”, which should be read by those who aren’t already familiar with its complex historical and socio-political dynamics. In short, this communist zombie construct urgently requires far-reaching administrative-political reforms lest it risk collapsing along ethno-centric lines.
Zelensky’s flight to Lvov takes on a very strategic significance considering his prior opposition to the US’ relocation of its embassy to that Western Ukrainian city. He proclaimed the following at that time: “It is a big mistake that some embassies — well, this is their decision — are moving to western Ukraine. Because there is no western Ukraine, there is Ukraine, it is whole.” The Ukrainian leader basically implied that the US was inadvertently stoking one of his country’s many regional identities at the expense of its attempts to forge a unified identity. This concerned him because Crimea’s democratic reunification with Russia and the Donbass Republics’ independence were partially driven by that too.
All of sudden, none other than Zelensky himself reportedly just fled to Lvov as well despite implying that the US’ earlier decision to relocate its embassy there risked eroding his country’s attempted unified identity. This makes one wonder whether the US’ geopolitical back-up plan in the event of Kiev’s liberation from its fascist occupiers by the Russian Armed Forces is to have Zelensky take a page out of his country’s history books by trying to revive the so-called “West Ukrainian People’s Republic” (WUPR) that was later incorporated into the interwar Second Polish Republic. After all, its Galician heartland is the cradle of the Ukrainian fascist movement so it follows that it’s a natural place for Zelensky to flee.

In any case, it’s extremely concerning that Zelensky fled to Lvov since it certainly suggests that such a scenario might seriously be countenanced at the moment by that anti-Russian military alliance. If it does indeed transpire, though, then it’ll tacitly result in the US-led West’s abandonment of Lenin’s mini-empire and the latter’s movement closer to Russia.
